25-04-2023Algier. Houria (25) jest utalentowaną tancerką, która marzy, aby występować w Algierskim Balecie Narodowym. Aby związać koniec z końcem w dzień pracuje jako sprzątaczka, a w nocy obstawia nielegalne walki. Po wygraniu finałowego zakładu Houria zostaje napadnięta przez Alego, który jest zdeterminowany, aby odzyskać pieniądze. Kiedy budzi się w szpitalu, rokowania nie są optymistyczne: nie umie mówić i z całą pewnością już nigdy nie będzie tańczyć. Houria nie potrafi zrezygnować ze swoich marzeń i z pełnym zaangażowaniem rozpoczyna rehabilitację. W ośrodku poznaje inne kobiety skrzywdzone przez los. Houria postanawia, że pomoże im wyjść poza poranione ciała i stanąć prosto – ucząc je tańca.
